My name is Leif Bergstrom. I grew up skiing on Mt Hood, and decided to take up mountaineering so I could ski off the summit. This began my career as a mountain guide. I have been guiding on Mt Rainier, Denali, and the North Cascades for the past 3 years. Winters are spent exploring Mt Hood and practicing my steep skiing in Chamonix. I am also a proud member of the Crag Rats which has built my rescue and first aid experience.
